Voici la petite histoire de ce cardigan / Here is the short story of this pattern.

Ce patron n’était pas prévu à l’origine dans les patrons prévus pour l’E Book Colors of Iceland. C’est la couleur Nordic Trail de Lilou qui m’a de suite parlé.

This pattern wasn’t planned in the beginning of the project. But when I saw the color Nordic Trail Lilou, I knew that this color had its place in the ebook.

Because this color, it is this for me:

Ces photos ont été prises un petit matin alors que nous étions seuls face à l’Atlantique … réveillés par des sternes articques. Pas un touriste. Personne le long du lagon. Ces photos ont été prises au Jökulsárlón, le Breiðárlón lui est aussi un lac glaciaire à quelques centaines de mètres de là. Lac qui n’a pas accès à la mer celui-là.

Pour la petite histoire, après avoir été réveillé, j’ai préparé le déjeuner, les enfants sont sorti et se sont installé le long de l’embouchure de la lagune. Et se sont retrouvés nez à nez avec des phoques. C’est le souvenir qu’ils racontent volontiers aux gens qui leur demandent ce qu’ils ont fait pendant leurs vacances.

This pictures are taken in the early hours when we was alone on the black sand beach …. we are awakened by some artic tern. There was no touris. Nobody near the lagoon.

This photoshoot was made near Jökulsárlón. Breiðárlón is more a lake than a lagoon and it i slocated a few hundred meters from Jökulsárlón.

For the anecdote, after being awakened, I prepared the breakfeast, the children were going outside and were sitted along the mouth of the lagoon. And suddenly, there were a lot of seals near front of them ! …. It is THE souvenir of our roadtrip for them.

C’est un top down construit avec la méthode classique du raglan.

Le montage des mailles est un montage provisoire des mailles au crochet

The CO is a provisional crochet cast-on.

You have a panel of lace on the back, at the bottom, at the neck and along the fronts.

Vous avez un panneau de point fantaisie dans le dos, sur l’ourlet, sur le col et le long des devants.

Après avoir tricoté une bonne partie du corps, vous allez utiliser des rangs raccourcis à l’allemande pour donner la forme évasée du bas du tricot.

After knitting almost the entire body, you will use German Short Rows to shape the bottom of this cardigan.

Le col et les côtés des devants sont repris à la fin du tricot et travaillés perpendiculairement.

The neckband and the collar are picked up and knitted perpendicular to the body.
